Celebration is in the air at Zenko Kyudojo here in Boulder, Colorado as Shibata Sensei's auspicious 88th birthday (aka his "rice year") as well as the New Year approach. We thank Shibata Sensei for his continued tireless commitment to teaching and supporting Kyudo practice around the world. This blog is an attempt to share some of the happenings from Sensei's home dojo with Kyudo enthusiasts far and wide. I am a relative newcomer to Kyudo and will post the entries identifying when the content comes from Sensei, Carolyn and/or others.
